  6. I suggest you watch Sarah Armine's channel on PCOS. She has a whole programme on what you eat, what to avoid, how to balance you micronutrients etc. And it really will naturally cure you from your pcos. I have to too and I've seen great improvements since implementing such changes in my diet and lifestyle. Good luck!

  7. I don't have polycystic ovaries, I am diagnosed with Hormonal PCOS and I think it's important that people know that you don't need to have cysts to have PCOS- it's a hormonal condition.

  8. Dear Kim. As I watched your video this morning, I could totally relate to your story.  I've struggled with the same fears my whole life and was compelled to write hoping that my experience can help you in some way. Like you, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was just informed of the side effects and that's it. Since then, I basically took a “learn to live with it” approach and it took me a long time, perhaps too long, to finally get “REALLY” curious about my body. After some dedicated soul-searching, I came to terms with the fact that although weight did not define me or anyone, being obese did make ME unhappy as I did not feel healthy, vibrant, or energetic like I so wanted. I had chronic knee pain, trouble bending down, and did not like wearing skirts or shorts because my inner thighs would rub and burn… etc. My entire life I heard the same as you…. “you have to lose weight,” and believe me, I TRIED EVERYTHING! Yet I felt like nothing worked for me and used PCOS as the reason for my failure in reaching a healthy lifestyle. Not until I turned 43, I finally decided to simply ask myself what I really wanted, and the answer was a mind-shift that defined my accomplishment… a healthy, active lifestyle and a baby. And so, my journey began with 2 basic things in mind: get to know my body and how it works. This experience was such an eye-opener for me as I learned about body composition and what the numbers really meant, and for me, the results were a HUGE reality check… I was a 43-year-old living in the body of a 69-year-old, older than my mother! No wonder I was struggling to move! My muscle mass % was LESS than 20%, fat mass % was above 50%, and learned the importance of BMI and BMR and how all of this was affected by my eating choices and sedentary lifestyle. Long story short… As I reached my health goals, when I least expected and almost by a miracle, I became pregnant! So, my advice to you is this, GET CURIOUS! It is not about whether you need to look like a textbook or what society thinks you should look like. It's about attempting to make your dream of being a mom a reality, and what you are at least willing to do to achieve it. There is enough scientific evidence showing the metabolic effects of obesity on reproduction… read on it.

Feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to learn what worked for me. All I can tell you is that it was such an easy ride once I had a clear understanding and saw the results of my choices… my only regret is not taking action as soon as I learned I had PCSO. All the best, Pamela.

  9. "No cure" according to who? There may not be one magic pill sanctioned by the pharmaceutical lobby that eradicates all symptoms yet but there are abundant videos on Youtube alone of people that have treated their PCOS through a combination of diet & other methods, and hundreds of healthcare professionals doing the same. Just look up "Dr. Marilyn Glenville on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) & Fertility" or "Becoming a Naturopath in Herbal Medicine – The Story of Catherine Nash"

Never will you hear from mainstream media or medical science about the role of hormones in milk & dairy, antibiotics in meat, hormone disruptors in plastics & tin cans, heavy metals in our water & soil, carcinogens in pesticides sprayed on our food, diesel fumes in the air, mercury & aluminium in vacc|nes and on and on… as if these rates of chronic & mystery illnesses are skyrocketing for no reason. Apparently it's all genetic. So why is it all just skyrocketing now then, why not 100 years ago?

The pharmaceutical giants have a stranglehold on medicine & have done for decades. They're not in the business of curing anything or educating us about diet & toxins. They're in the business of business. How's this for a smoking gun…

Richard Horton, chief editor of prestigious peer reviewed medical journal The Lancet said in 2015 "The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness." Similarly, Dr. Marcia Angell, editor of the New England Medical Journal said in 2009 "It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine"

The implications of those statements written by those two people are huge. Unsurprisingly enough the mainstream media remained silent. Don't expect to hear the full truth about chronic disease or healing coming from them anytime soon. Most doctors still know next to nothing about nutrition. It's 2018 & oncologists are still telling cancer patients not to worry about diet, that it doesn't affect anything. If the doctors don't know then the media don't know and the end result is that nobody knows there are alternatives unless they've ignored their doctors advice & looked outside the mainstream.

Sadly the truth is that you'll probably get more helpful fertility advice these days from a youtube vlogger than you will from a very broken medical system owned by an international corporate gang of drug pushers.

  10. You lost three stone for your wedding but you were (and are) still fat! Being this overweight affects fertility, especially when you have PCOS, yet you still cry knowing that while remaining obese. PCOS really only causes excess visceral fat, which is more common in men. I have PCOS and I'm now a low normal weight, so I'm living proof that losing weight is entirely possible. Eat less, move more. It's not easy, but it is simple.

  11. The infertility stuff is rough, but you have to face it for what it is. It doesn't define you, it doesn't change who you are. The reality is the same whether you want to see it or not. I hate for that to sound harsh, but don't get in your own way…you don't want to be your own biggest hurdle, ya know?
I have PCOS too, and I was one of the lucky women who did lose weight and conceive naturally, after going through miscarriages and assisted conception cycles.
Also look into the impact of dairy products on pcos, It helped me greatly to cut it out of my diet, and I'll never consume it again. It is especially inflammatory to those with pcos.
    All the best 😸
