  1. This is an open question to anyone who's knowledgeable or experienced with this.
    I'm one of those "Skinny fat" people with a little muscle.
    My goal is to do a mile a day until it no longer feels like a task and then up the running. To coincide with it, I do plan on lifting. However, there's multiple ways to go about it. 5×5 workouts, upperbody and lower body splits, 4 sets with 12 reps with short rest in between. Lots of avenues to experiment with as far as lifting.
    Ultimately, I don't think I can go wrong as long as I'm lifting. But would switching up between some of these routines weekly or every other week make for wasted time?
