  1. I'm not a professional but just voicing out my opinion, I started out with no weights and worked my way up to weights. Some people I guess try to get use to the squat stances and do them how they are most comfortable doing them also. I did without weights and slowly worked my way adding weight doing 20lbs, and now 30lb weights
