  1. Surgery is always the last thing you go to………anyone using violent " traction" on the neck or any body part of the body for decompression is not really thinking. Physical therapy pelvic and cervical intermittent traction has proven to not be of much use so it fits that this dangerous version has very limited worth! Seek other avenues before surgery…..

  2. Wait a minute…. I thought black people couldn't get ahead in this country? How are you a surgeon? How many white women helped you get where you are today?

In all seriousness though. Thanks for the video.

  3. Personally I think chiropractors manipulate your wallet more than anything. In todayā€™s world more and more Physical therapists are required to have a doctorate. Chiropractors for the most part think they are equivalent alternative to both physical therapy and surgery when in reality they provide a temporary band aid to the problem. This Y strap therapy has been around on a different format for a long time.

  4. I would like to see a video on the use of a flexion distraction table. A safer alternative to achieve spinal decompression compared to a Y-strap.

  5. Im just a pharmacy student so im outside my comfort zone but my concern with this "adjustment" (im weary of chiropractors in general because i just dont think the evidence is there) is that it doesnt look very controlled. You shouldnt be pulling someone against their own body weight. If this were a back/neck exercise instead of a chiropractor, you would want a steady, controlled movement, not a quick jerk (think like a deadlift or pull-up). Because theyre not controlling the amount of force, because it's such a quick and uncontrolled jerk, and because theyre using the customer's body weight (im apprehensive to say patient when talking about chiropractors), i would be concerned about the stress this could cause to muscles in and around the neck and back. There is some association between neck muscle spasms/injuries causing migranes.

Again, i know drugs better than i know whatever the hell this is, but i would want to see a more controlled and standardized movement. The towel one looks a bit easier (because youre not pulling the person's whole body) but it's still a little jerky for my taste.
