  1. It is not dangerous to eat McDonald's if you only eat the amount that you would normally eat on a healthy diet, it is only because you eat like a pig when you eat McDonald's that you become fat and the same will happen if you ate like a pig of healthy food then you will get fat too

  2. They should all feel ashamed of feeding people this info that’s not even healthy as an option for short run or long term, heart disease and type 2 diabetes come to Mind here , before anyone starts running to Mac’s

  3. It's all about portions and amounts. Eat probably one steak a meal, you won't get fat. Eat three steaks a meal, there you bloat.
Then there's also the size of the steak…

  4. Jordan Syatt on YouTube explain a calorie is a unit of measurement like 1 mile is a unit of measurement. That mile could be swimming in water, running in sand or walking on pavement. Different degrees of difficulty like fat, carbs or protein. You keep that calorie deficit you lose the weight. How much you can eat depends on the calories.

  5. Weight loss is not a measure of health, it’s a consequence of caloric intake. So yes you can lose weight…are you healthy? Different question.
So if a big mac is 550 calories and medium fires is 320, and drank water. And he ate half. Lunch would be 435 calories, if he did that 3 times a day his calories would be 1305 which is an extreme caloric deficit for anyone! No wonder he lost weight, thermodynamics am I right?

  6. It's absolutely surreal to me that people saw this guy's story and it just now dawned on them that maybe eating less is healthier and might stimulate some weight loss. "EAT HALF A MEAL!!" WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT BY 2023?!!!??'

For real though, every major study ever done on meal size has proven that those who eat less have longer, healthier lives. That shouldn't shock anyone either.

  7. You can eat any kind of food, as long as you limit the amount of calories, have a good exercise, eat a half a plate, and just walk around. It isn't easy. Just don't be lazy. Though, I will say I feel bad for his bank account. That is an expensive 100 days.

  8. Calories in vs calories out, as long as you eat less than than you expend you’re going to lose weight. People struggle with this because they will get 2 big macs then have 3-5 more meals plus snacks throughout the day. When you consume 5000+ calories a day and only expend 1500 its no surprise you gain weight.

  9. If this guy ate half a McDonalds QPC , medium fries and drank water 3 times a day that’s about 1,250 calories a day. That’s the secret here. For him to claim he never counted calories does humanity a large disservice when all he had to do is tell us an average. I love McDonalds but it’s not really a good deal to eat there or at most burger joints when you pay $5 for a 4 ounce patty. A better question these ladies should have asked was “how much money did you give McDonalds over 100 days?”

  10. For seven years straight in med school I almost ate fast food everyday. However my BMI was never more than 23. I never ate breakfast, ate one big meal (usually lunch) and had a light snack instead of eating dinner.
Its just about the calorie deficit. IDK why the media and people complicate it.

  11. What I don't understand is McDonald's was the reason for obesity some were saying but my problem is is you know what you're getting is not healthy you don't have a gun pointed to your head to eat it I know a long time ago there was a lady who gave her kid so much McDonald's he became extremely obese and tried to sue McDonald's which makes no sense to me if you're obese then watch what you eat not blame somebody else for your poor decisions.

This shows as long as your careful you can eat this food

  12. How is this possible? All I can think about is Morgan Spurlock's documentary Super Size Me. Morgan Spurlock was eating McDonald's for 30 days three times a day. This was when they still had the super size option. One rule during Morgan Spurlock's 30 day McDonald's diet is everytime he was offered the super size option he would have to take the super size option. There wasn't cutting the meals in half either. Morgan Spurlock gained a significant amount of weight and he even got physically ill half way through. He was even going to a dietary clinic during the whole 30 day diet.

  13. He poisoned himself for a hundred days, then. Just the partially hydrogenated vegetable oil alone on a daily basis is enough to send your LDL and triglycerides sky high. Add those really weak simple carbs from the potatoes and bread, and your blood glucose will also rise significantly—dangerously. Losing weight is irrelevant if all you're doing is slowly killing yourself.
