  3. think the words "lifestyle change" says it all, I did physical work most of my life but as I got older I slowed down but my calorie intake didn't. at 60 i went onto a 4 day week and at 63 a 3 day week but kept my eating habits the same. just before my 64th, my mother passed and I took my suit out of the closet for the first time since my goddaughter's wedding 3 years ago and I had to buy new, could not even get a leg in the pants. that was a big wake-up call I was 262 pounds with a 44 in the waist. now 2.5 years older down to 160 and 32 waist, still want to lose another 8-10 but I can do stuff that I have not been capable of since my early 50s, walk for miles without pain, sleep better-stopped snoring and thoroughly enjoying my retirement, think that if I had carried on with my old lifestyle I probably wouldn't be here now or in a wheelchair at best
