  1. I have always enjoyed watching, learning, and cooking from Gordan's recipes and shows. He doesn't ramble on and go off tangent like other cooks and every where he travels he respects the dishes of the culture he learns and emulates in his cooking. I bet his home kitchen is heaven. I would require an upgrade to cook various meals with various range of ingredient and spices. It can be a cleaning challenge when cooking in such small spaces with little storage.

  2. Everything looked fantastic, except for the cheesecake. Too dark, and I fear that it was probably dry. A true New York style cheesecake has heavy cream or sour cream, possibly both, and Greek yogurt maybe substituted for the sour cream. Also, my cheesecake starts out in a higher heat oven, but only for a short time, and then it is turned way down, and cooked low and slow, then the heat is turned off, and it is left in the oven until it comes to room temp. Then refrigerate for many hours, preferably overnight. I also top with sour cream that has been sweetened with confectioners sugar, and has vanilla added to it. It is unbelievably good. Mine has a graham cracker crust. Also, there's not one single spot of brown anywhere on mine. It is pure white, fully cooked through, and absolutely tongue wagging delicious!
