  1. Yes it works. i had anxiety 2 days ago, and i did weight lifting and cardio yesterday. my anxiety and all the symptoms gone right away.

  2. I agree. And also I'm noticing I can't sleep and get irritable after working out, resistance training, due to heightened cortisol as well.

Depression is a tricky thing, caused by trauma or difficult current circumstances, as well as other reasons. Complex PTSD is usually confused and misdiagnosed as depression as well.

Gyms being shut for a year didn't help xx

  3. PEOPLE, THE POINT IS TO LOSE FAT AND GET MUSCLES. You need diet plan and training plan for that! I visited website called Agoge Diet, they provided me with personalized diet plan and training plan. The results are amazing!!!

  4. Resistance training seems to greatly reduces my anxiety, especially morning anxiety. It's been only two weeks so far. I really hope this is the solution.

  5. Improving, building and being the best version physically is the utmost priority in life… Prioritize your physical and all other aspects will follow such as mental, social, self-esteem, confidence, aesthetics, sex appeal, etc…….

  6. Found this video by chance, before lifting I used to just get drunk just about everyday because I was angry at my shitty job and general shitty life. I constantly contemplated suicide and ended up completely driving away all my friends and family.

I started lifting because I was really angry and I wanted to let it out and feel "hurt" physically.

I've been lifting for about 7 months, I had no goals when I started I just wanted to exert the pain I felt.

God do I love lifting. The feeling of satisfaction after a good workout session is incomparable to anything else for me.

I hope anyone who reads this and is struggling right now is able to push themselves towards doing something about their lives because they want to love themselves. Or like me, because they want to let out some pain.

It's worth it. You're worth it.

  7. What if you have a problem sweating?

Most of the time I exercise, I overheat and almost pass out. I tried gaining a bit of weight for that problem (6'1", used to be 150 now 170) but that seemed to just make me tired faster.
I also sometimes have chin splints and joint problems. Is there anything I can eat or take to help with this?

  8. Have missed the gym for 4 days now because of dizziness, increased heart rate, lose of appetite and headaches and it feels terrible.
Mentally I feel like breaking down any minute right now…

  9. It makes you feel better, makes u want to eat better, makes you more attractive and confident, makes you get more girls, makes people respect you more, makes you respect yourself! And can be therapy in itself to a stressful work week or life in general! I promise you if anyone sticks to a lifting program with some cardio thrown in as well for 1 whole year, YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK! And I’m talking 3-5 days a week every week! After about 3 months you will be addicted and after a year of it as well as eating descent, the results will shock the fuck out of you and you have officially become a gym rat! It’s as addictive as any drug out there to me

  10. Ive been exercising and weight lifting for almost 4 years now and i was depressed then and im depressed now. And ive recently quit exercising and cant get motivated to get back.

  11. ID be interested in hearing about the aerobic exercise benefits and studies that we're mentioned in the first 30 seconds, maybe a good idea for another video?

  12. Lifting weights helps me release stress and anger and it makes me feel fit and healthy very much recommended and remember never push yourself too much

  13. This study isn't just words on paper , This is something I personally experienced . Before I started lifting I had depression I even thought about killing my self several times and it was on a weekly pace and now I have been lifting for six months 5 days a week and I never got depressed in 4 months , I mean thank God my friend lead me to weightlifting.

  14. When I had been depressed I went to the gym and tried to do everything even harder than before. I had been telling myself that 'I can do it and I will do it. I will show it to those who are the reason for me being depressed.' and I developed much more faster and I felt a lot better.
