Since the gyms have been closed due to the pandemic, I have been wanting to get dumbbells in order to incorporate resistance training into my workouts. I’ve been eyeing adjustable weights because it’s equivalent to having different weighted dumbbells and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. The weights of this dumbbell ( https://amzn.to/3fbNoUa ) range from 5-25 pounds and can be adjusted in increments of five (5) pounds so this dumbbell can be adjusted from 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 pounds. This is easy to adjust simply by pulling and sliding the lock knob to the weight that you want and pushing down to lock in place. The less weight you select, the more weight plates will be left on the storage tray which is such a smart design. This dumbbell has a textured metal grip in the middle so that when you’re holding the dumbbell, you have a nice grip and it’s also anti-sweat so you don’t have to worry about the dumbbell accidentally slipping from your hands. I usually wear workout gloves when handling dumbbells to prevent calluses on my palms.
Overall, I am impressed by this ingenious adjustable dumbbell. The only downfall to this is that this only comes with one (1) dumbbell. I wish this came with a set of two (2) dumbbells which would have been ideal, but I have been using this primarily for overhead tricep presses and one-arm dumbbell rows and one-arm reverse triceps so I’m still able to get a good strength training workout in. This also comes with a nice and sturdy tray to store the dumbbells when not in use.
