I own several granite stone pans and noticed that even after washed, if I pass a white rag or paper towel on it it leaves a black soot residue, black powder like. Is that safe? Is it toxic?

I have always known this about the bad cookware. I have also always used cast iron and stainless. I have told this to many people.
They forgot to add carbon steel which needs to be seasoned like cast iron, and traditional lead free clay.
That advice to replace ceramic pan by ceramic plate…

Unglazed clay cookware is safest and it's the only cooking method that completely preserves all vitamins and minerals in the cooking process.
I put lemon juice and tomatoes in all my recipes. So iron and steel pans are not for me…
