DELICIOUS LOW CARB ALTERNATIVES TO NIGERIAN STAPLE FOODS | HEALTHY| WEIGHT LOSS | FUFU & RICE | 2019

Hey lovelies, today I show you how to make a healthy alternative to fufu (aka swallo/tuwo) and rice that actually taste GOOD! The recipes are so quick and easy to make. Let me know what you think of them when you try it.

Cauliflower fufu:

1 small head of cauliflower (serves 1)
1 tsp Psyllium husk

Cut your cauliflower up and blend with plenty of water so that all the cauliflower is covered.

Then put the blended cauliflower and water mixture into a cheese-cloth and drain out the excess water (the more water you drain out the harder it becomes)

Put the drained cauliflower into a pot on the stove on medium to low heat and start stirring. Ad the psyllium husk and keep stirring until it becomes like a fufu consistency then serve up with your soup.

Cauliflower rice:

1/2 a head of cauliflower (serves 1-2)
1tsp oil

Grate the cauliflower or use a food processor
Then simply fry in a teaspoon of oil in a frying pan for 2-3 minutes or until desired softness achieved.

Serve with stew or however desired.
